In days gone by, I used to keep across what was going on by looking at Upcoming. But since that fell out of favour with a critical mass of geeks, the new kid on the block is now Lanyrd, from Natbat and Simon.
I keep forgetting to update my forthcoming events on Lanyrd, but had a pleasant surprise today when I found that, thanks to the nature of crowd-sourcing, I’d already been added to BarCamp Bournemouth3 without having to do a thing!
Anyway, enough rambling. I’m also looking forward to helping out at Think Vis in Leeds this coming weekend, attending Maker Faire in Newcastle the weekend after and Apersandconf in June. Geekery FTW!
